Christ prayed that all His disciples might have union with Him.
Jn 17:21 that all of them may be one, Father, just as you are in me and I am in you. May they also be in us so that the world may believe that you have sent me. 22 I have given them the glory that you gave me, that they may be one as we are one: 23 I in them and you in me. May they be brought to complete unity to let the world know that you sent me and have loved them even as you have loved me.

1 Jn 4:9 This is how God showed his love among us: He sent his one and only Son into the world that we might live through him. 16 And so we know and rely on the love God has for us. God is love. Whoever lives in love lives in God, and God in him.

2 Ti 3:17 so that the man of God may be thoroughly equipped for every good work.

Nearness to God.

Abiding in Christ.
(Selected Reading, Jn 15)

Jn 15:5 "I am the vine; you are the branches. If a man remains in me and I in him, he will bear much fruit; apart from me you can do nothing.

1 Pe 1:13 Therefore, prepare your minds for action; be self-controlled; set your hope fully on the grace to be given you when Jesus Christ is revealed.
